Yesterday, mostly language institute work. The teachers are here, students are trickling in asking me questions about books that I don't know the answer to. I wish I could take a class.

I met one of the new Swahili teachers. He was full of praise for my spoken Swahili and insisted that I could be a Swahili teacher if I wanted, nonnativespeakerness and inexperience with language teaching nonwithstanding. Very encouraging.

Then I walked around to find appropriate places to put signs for those looking for the dorm, which is buried in a maze of construction.

Today, a repeat, only I put the signs up. Getting lots of hours in, anyway.
