Hooray for the middle voice!

Today I was buying some peaches at the farmer's market. I need to make jam and some of those fruit jellies for a bridal shower next weekend, but I'm leaving town on Wednesday and don't have time to wait around for things to ripen. So I asked, "How many days are they from being ready?". The farmer answers, "Some of them will probably eat today, and the rest should eat tomorrow."
