I was just reading this news article, it mentioned the DaVinci Code. I am so completely uninterested in this book, I hardly have the energy to mention it. The hubbub (mostly past now, thank goodness) mystifies me. So anyway, even in this article, the writer refers to the 'claims' made in the book.

It's fiction. You can't make claims in a work of fiction. WTF?

It reminds me a bit of J's story about a student who cited "extraterrestrial expert Fox Mulder" in a research paper.

It's supposed to get up to 80 today,. What will stop me from going and rolling around in the middle of the cul-de-sac like Ballyhoo does? Social norms only. That and the gravel (ow).
