Tuesday, Oct. 02, 2007 - 8:16 a.m. We went on our annual pumpkin-buying outing yesterday! Before I can put them out, I need to mow the grass. The grass is as high as an elephant's eye. I haven't mowed in like a month (it was dry! And hot!). The pumpkins would be hidden. TWO cinderella pumpkins (the really tasty ones), a blue hubbard, a lakota, a halloween pumpkin, and a fairy tale pumpkin. You know this isn't the end of it. I still have pumpkin pulp and pumpkin molasses in the freezer from last year, but that's not the point. This year I will make that pumpkin sorbet I thought up, and pumpkin gnocchi, and pumpkin soup, and pumpkin stewed in coconut milk. I love fall. And now I am going for a walk. previous next Leave a note |
