I am a klutz.

i give up on caps-- typing one-handed now.

let's just say that pumpkin roasting can be far more dangerous than one might expect. i knew, too, i was trying to be careful "get your hand out of the range of that knife" i kept thinking, being careful, then automatically moved to stabilize the pumpkin and...well. i'm waiting for the wound to knit up so i can bend my left index finger again without exposing bone. it sounds much worse than it really is (it's only a tiny wound, and not really that deep)-- i applied pressure immediately and have been holding the hand straight so it'll knit back together quickly, but still. i can't do ANYTHING for a while.
