My tense/aspect pal brought snickerdoodles to reading group today. They were so damn good. I usually scoff at snickerdoodles, but damn. I wish I had taken another one. I almost emailed her to tell her that, but decided that she'd think I was stupid.

I'm in a particularly acute bout of avoidance lately. People I wanted to talk to email me, and I ignore them for days (or will it be weeks, months...?) People I owe explanations to. People I owe jewelry to. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Going to have some more chai now.
