Planted roses in the blank space left after removing all my mint and so on for the termite treatment near the house. I'm excited: roses! The miniature rose I bought a few years ago for $1 from the gonna-die-any-minute bin is looking quite good and now has company.

When we moved off the boat, a yellow rosebush was the first plant I planted at the house. Way out in the middle of the front yard, all by itself. I didn't have much of a sense of landscaping back then.

It's finally in the 80s, hallelujah.
