I may have overreached a bit at the farmers' market today. I got two quarts of persimmons (the little American variety that look all disturbing and squishy and half-gone when they're just ripe), figuring that I've been in Indiana for 6 years now, it's high time I tried to do something with them. We'll see how it goes.
Managed to avoid buying more pumpkins there. Aren't you proud?
Also, basil. So I can make pesto, which I haven't done yet this year. Must have pesto for the winter.
