Er, never mind.

Ultrasound revealed an embryo that wasn't looking so hot (a couple weeks younger than it should have been; no heartbeat action, indicating that something stalled); I go back in in a week just to confirm, but everyone was acting like someone died so it's pretty clear that something probably has.

Yeah, I'm bummed. We were all geared up, you know.

The consolation is that I now get to make this joke: It's as though something died inside of me.
