all is well. the days blur together a bit. i didn't want to be one of those people who, once they have kids, can't seem to talk about anything else. however, despite my best intentions, i admit it is rather all-encompassing at first. it's an effort to remember to do things like pay bills.

oh, and some potentially big news, J got a job offer from a faraway place in the US, and since they need an answer fairly soon, we have to take a giant roadtrip to see if we (I) like it there well enough to move. pretty exciting, yet badly timed. who goes on a week long road trip with a 3-week old infant? us, apparently. if the docs clear it. at least she'll be unbored, what with all the sleeping.
