Spigotbottom's 4 month checkup yesterday-- 15 lbs 6 oz, 26.5cm. And on the developmental measures, tested out like a 6 1/2 month old. Did remarkably well with the shots this time-- got over her fuss within minutes.

Took her on a playground swing for the first time. She liked it! Big surprise there. Now there is something else for us to do to while away the hours. Hurrah. I have to learn all the new stuff about social interactions on a playground. Do parents talk to each other? What do you do if a kid tries to talk to you? Or, more likely, what if there's a kid just staring at you? I have no idea, and I'd rather be left alone, but that may not happen. Ah, brave new world of awkward social interactions.
