Spigotbottom was 8 months old yesterday! and is now in her 12-month-sized clothing, which we bought mostly for the winter months-- will her growth slow as it's supposed to, or will we have to go buy everything again in the next size up?

Got a good deal on pears at the farmer's market. Made spiced pear jam with caramel yesterday, and today am going to make chocolate and pear jam. Both from the Mes Confitures book. Mmmm. Threw some cinnamon in with the chocolate and pear beacause pears are good with cinnamon! And chocolate is good with cinnamon! So it stands to reason...
