Finished my browse of the illuminated manuscript exhibit at The Library. Nothing like seeing it in person to impress. The gold was shiny, the illustrations wonderful, but what really impressed me on most pieces was the text block itself. Such thin lines! So tiny! So straight and even! Someday I'll lock myself in a tiny cell and get to work learning how to do it right.
