The shapes-- bulbous child flower-petals, flat on one side and arced on the other. Bright colors. Arrayed like a flower (how can I get them to connect?) or like a strange geometrical shape, flatside to flatside in a lumpy mosaic, like a worrisome monolith in miniature.

What am I doing with these?

We need hammered spirals of metal to accent them.

We need brightly colored thread. How do I attach it? Won't it get dirty?

No one on FB 'liked' my brooch, so I was right about that. That's ok. I still like them.

We're going to the art show today. Next year I guess I'll be in it, if all goes well.
