Doc said those were just practice contractions, it may happen again a time or two, and then finally they won't stop, and that'll be that. She also said she wouldn't be surprised if I don't make it all the way to our appointment next week. Oh, dear. Hope she's wrong.

Finished the jam. It's good. Today, hope to make a second batch. Also gotta make bread, lasagna, freeze the pizza dough, keep the sourdough starter chugging along, make more yogurt, make more muffins to freeze, make more onion confit, make a green chile stew and freeze the rest of the chiles. Gotta clean part of my studio so J can put his desk there so we can set up the crib where the desk goes.

Maybe not all today.
