The birds have found the birdfeeders. The plants are lush with joy from the soaker hose. I have a plot to make my cowpea trellis into something of a pergola. We got more sunshades that need put up.

104 doesn't feel as bad as it did last year. Or perhaps because we have already seen 108 and that is hell. 104 doesn't seem so bad.

I had a great idea yesterday, of decoupaging library bookends. Today it does not seem like such a good idea. I can do better than that. But I bet people would buy them. But I could do better.

I am adrift.
