Finished the lace piece. Am basically pleased. I learned a lot in the process. I am still stumped in the thread question. I want finer thread so it will look more delicate, but am clueless and online lace supply sellers have stupid order forms you have to email them instead of proper shopping carts. It's just another obstacle.

For the next one, I'm thinking a daphnia with a border of DNA. The double helix will make a nice scalloped border. I may get a better idea, though. There is a lot of science out there, and it's kind of hard to choose.
