Got the thing taken off my foot. It was a tumor (pyogenic granuloma-- don't google it! It's gross!), though they are almost completely certain it is benign. The lidocaine was not too bad, but the cauterization hurt. Now I have to stay off it for 2 days (hah). Hopefully the healing will be quick. Glad to have the bastard gone. It better not come back. I can't wait to walk around like a normal person again.

I deserve a Breastfeeding Merit Badge because I have nursed this baby through a pelvic exam and 4 doctor visits for this foot-- two involving lidocaine and one involving a scalpel and fire.
