Not doing much better today optimism-wise. I’ll just leave it at that.

I wrote out my vision for next year’s artistic aesthetic particularly if nothing happening in this current cycle keeps me engaged. Here are my notes, read them and weep, weep for us all:

Aesthetic for 2020: garish, lurid
The PipnPop of fabric jewelry
Sequins, glitter, plaid, pom-poms, tassels, metallic thread
Fluorescent appliqué
Glitter cabochons for shisha
Dada
Peter Pan collars and variations on other types of historical collars (Pierrot, jabot, high, etc)
