Mom: comes to birthday party, brings autistic now-10yo fresh flowers. She doesn’t care.

When I’m taking cake out of the oven, asks for a vase. I tell her to wait.

Later says, “I’m so glad I bought those flowers so they could die laying on the table.”

I get her a vase. “It doesn’t need to be this big.” “This is the one I have.”

A few minutes later, to herself, “I don’t know where she wants these flowers....”

NOWHERE SHE WANTS THEM NOWHERE SHE DOESNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE FLOWERS FFS
