I did a photo of someone I’m FB friends with who is always posting seeking validation about her appearance, who has a lot of body issues and so on. I was worried she’d be upset that I stole her pic but she was thrilled. So far when I offer to do this for people they are very happy. I was worried about coming off as a creeper, but a) it’s well documented that I do this stuff, and b) if I just offer in a general way, not too many people are brave enough to reach out to me. Therefore my new policy is that with a few exceptions, I’m going to go with asking forgiveness rather than permission. I won’t post it without permission, but making the photo to show them, yes.
