Had mom over yesterday. It was fine. A nice time overall, even.

J tracked down contact info for my old friend who sent a card… I want to write her but I don’t even know what to say to people these days. Do I have anything in common with anyone anymore? Any points of intersection? What do middle aged women talk about? I have no idea. What do I talk about? I have no idea. What do I want to share of myself? It depends. Will they like it? Will they worry about me? Will they stop sending me Christmas cards?

Am ahead of where I usually am on wrapping gifts. On the other hand, I still have to appliqué a Battle Cat to U’s Christmas pjs.
