I was thinking that the darning gadget I bought had gone missing in transit and then it showed up a couple days ago and today I tried it out. I still have to learn to do it well, but it is easy and the results is very tidy, even my first attempt. I have a lot of mending to catch up on so this is good.

We bought my ticket to Cardiff today, for early May. I’ve been looking forward to it for so long, I haven’t fully processed that now I actually am finally going. I’m trying very hard not to think about all of the things that could go wrong. There are a lot of them. But it will be ok and I will have a good time, dammit.

I have more projects than time. Frustrating.
