The phenakistoscope, mounted onto a disc and into lazy Susan hardware, and mounted on a wall.

Make it a wooden disk. Mount the paper image to it and seal it.

Or carve the wood. Make it a relief print, make a certain number of prints from it, and then seal it. An original block plus limited edition paper run. All functional.

Make it a paper cut. Layers of paper cuts.

All much easier, again, if I could draw. Somehow.
