I carved one more bird and then the text today, for the card. I shouldn’t call it a card. I don’t even want to write anything in it; making the damn print is greetings enough. Having to take the step of then writing on it may be a bridge too far.

Anyway. I’ll probably have to use oil-based ink. Hope it won’t take as long to dry as the patches are. Also, where am I going to put all these while they dry? No idea.

I had wanted to do a 2-color, but it may prove too complicated. Don’t know.

Anyway, I like it a lot better than the print I made last year and then didn’t even send.
