I have given in and decided that I would like to eat fruitcake every morning for the rest of my life. One slice, with tea. I am making a new batch of fruitcake and it yields 8 fruitcake mini-loaves, so I should be good until...April? I hope. I'm not saying it'll be the first thing I eat every morning, but definitely the second.

The in-laws converted the useless corner planter into a sandbox at my behest. I know I complain a lot about them, but here we have another example of how they are-- I had been contemplating that shit for like 3 years, and they just did it. I helped hail the old rocks away, but still. INITIATIVE, they has it.
