It was hard to get him to go. He refused. Eventually we talked him in by promising no one would talk to him or even see him. We got a blanket for him to put over himself and we went.

I went in and talked to them. They noticed I had self-described as “suspected autistic” and really dig into that and questioned me about into in a way I had not anticipated. It left me wiped out, I’m not really over it yet. We did get the blanket off him and he came into the room but wouldn’t speak. Only said “mmmmf”. He was laughing at the one doc though— while trying hard not to— so that was something. We have another appointment for next week. How we will get him back a second time, I have no idea.

All energy gone.
