It's getting dark noticeably earlier now. I can't seem to stay awake more than two hours after dark, and so this is already cutting down on my productivity. All I want to do is sleep. I went to sleep at 8:30 last night. It doesn't help that I'm discouraged about school again-- I know, just when it seemed that I was determined and positive. Thank my advisor for that. Dick.

I should have gone into phonology. The phonology profs around here are at least encouraging to their students, and some of them are even downright helpful. What a concept.

Pressing on regardless.
