Hume's birthday was celebrated yesterday among local philosophers with much cake and ice cream. I still feel vaguely ill. But we had more fun with those party horn things than adults should be allowed to have.

Today we are going to Memphis for the week. I am going to attempt to pack up a functioning studio to bring along so I can be productive while I am there. It will doubtless be a disaster.
