Mysterious email from my mother: "Ray moved out yesterday-- not sure where to yet...I feel a great sense of relief."

I feel a sense of relief too, followed by almost equal senses of "huh?" and "now, how will this go wrong?" Not that that's a sense, really, but you know what I mean.

Last time we spoke, though, there was no talk of any impending plans of him moving. So, hmmm. I just hope he manages to stay gone, especially while she's away in July.

And wouldn't it be nice if he managed to swim, rather than sink (and then slink home to mama)? It's been a long time since he's done that.
