I'm playing with new ideas, but the new ideas are multi-step, and I have to wait several days to find out if I'm on the right track or not. In the meantime, I don't want to get too carried away, in case it won't work the way I think it will. It's difficult, being excited yet restrained. I never was any good at that.

I have birthday money, and I spent half of it on tea today. With the other half, I think I will buy a) a pH meter and b) pigments. I don't know yet which pigments, though. I like the idea of gemstone pigments, but they're expensive, and will they stay? I would also like some rose-gold leafing.
