Mom went back to stay with my uncle this morning. Thank goodness.

I'm still in my customary January slump. Very unpleasant. Can't make myself do anything. No progress. I unwrapped one object from a box, though, so I guess that's something. My studio is in terrible disorder, I really want to get it organized as a springboard to productivity.

Q keeps waking up at 4 or 5am, I have to go lay down with her but I can never get her back in her crib at that hour. So my morning alone time has been shot. Not helpful.

I did get my compost heap going. That is also something.
