My campaign to reduce Q's cheese consumption is working out pretty well. The related plan, for which reducing the cheese was hypothesized to be crucial, that is, increasing new vegetable acceptance, variety, and intake, is going a bit slower. But I haven't been at it very long. The fruits are still going strong. It's hard to keep with the "no same foods 2 consecutive days" rule AND the "fruits and veggies at every snack and meal" rule. There are almost not enough fruits. Yesterday she had blueberries, strawberries, banana, peach, apple. Plus minty peas. And a token amount of spinach in her eggs, which I thought she might reject but she didn't, so I suppose that's something. Today that leaves us raspberries, nectarines, apricots, and mango. And one fruit will probably have to be repeated, because we ran out of grapes. She does seem happier to see them when you don't throw the same thing at her every other time she eats. But damn, that's a lot of fruit to keep on hand.

I got some "black apricots" at Costco. They are clearly apricot/plum hybrids. I'm not so sure about them. Probably will not get them again. May make them into jam. That might be the best thing for them.

Hah hah, this is boring. Sorry.
