Somewhat choppy and disjoint, since when it's time to go, that's that.

Birth: accomplished. Induction. Rapid progression, epidural too late to do much good. Then 4 hours of pure unrelenting hell, exhaustion. Vacuum assist. 10.5 lb baby. Lumpy conehead. Over an hour in the OR, getting patched up. Lost a liter of blood. Later, a blood transfusion.
