The watermelon is still not ripe! It better be good when I finally pick it! I cut open one that had a bit of end rot, and aside from the black part it was not bad. I have had grocery store watermelon that were barely riper than that. And it was tiny. So I am expecting big things from this melon.

Gotta get on the Halloween costumes. Q wants to be a Blue Angel pilot, and U is to be the jet. There is some talk of an apple festoon party as well.

No name for the new kid yet. We have given up.

We have new friends coming over to play this morning. A rare event.
