J made it back in one piece. I got to take a nap. Now we have to prep for our road trip and month away. AAAAA.

U and I started making these little folding Japanese box envelopes and he noticed that at the penultimate stage it looks like a ninja throwing star, so now all of them are having me make them paper shurikens and finally parenting is a little bit more like I thought it would be.

Because I need more projects, I’m thinking about making little Halloween themed tiling stamps that I can use on these little origami envelopes and send them as Halloween greetings. It’s never too early to think about Halloween!
