The day went really well actually. I think the fact that I had basically given up caring helped a lot. I only did the minimum that I considered necessary for me to enjoy Thanksgiving, which was still kind of a lot, but less than it usually is. Like the bread dressing. I could have skipped it, but I decided I wanted it and so I did it and didn’t resent it. (It turned out really good too). I didn’t eat turkey. We didn’t bother with a green vegetable. The pies were good. No one had a meltdown.

Tree goes up on Saturday and I will try really hard not to give a shit about that either I guess. Haha.
