Went for another walk. I’ll stop mentioning it every time, but what was notable was that I started getting new blisters in new areas on the soles of my feet. Why? Same shoes, you’d think whatever was going to happen would have done happened by now. But I think it must be the humidity changing the areas where my feet are sticking to the soles. So anyway I finally ordered the new ones, hope they help. Historically, new shoes just open up whole new areas of friction and pain, which is why I’m always so resistant to them. Fingers crossed.

Been helping my friend’s mom gather phone numbers to call to try to track him down. Hospitals, jails. No luck yet.
