U was looking at my Tarot pillow today and asked me to draw a card for him, so I did and got Queen of Swords. Of course, not all the information applies to a child his age, but it was very very accurate as far as it goes. There’s an entire deck of cards that would have suited him rather less.

There was an armed robbery two blocks from our house. Search helicopters circling for a long time just now. I am glad for the bars on our windows here.
