First we went to Chicago (did I say that already? Well, it's still true, we did) and then to PA to visit with family up there. Then we came back and I haven't had a moment to write here since, mainly because I've started yet another blog (this one with modest commercial aspirations, related to baby-led weaning). So I've spent every spare moment trying to come up with interesting things to cook for Spigotbottom (who, it should be noted, now that she's on big people food, is not so spigoty after all). She's down fora nap now, and I'm wasting my entire spare hour or so on the internet. *sigh*

Anyway, just wanted to say we're still alive.
