Did get the irrigation taken care of, and mulched under the trees, and may have suffered some minor heat exhaustion in the process as I hadn’t realized it was actually 105 out there. Spent most of the rest of the day with a massive headache, some nausea, and drinking fluids and napping.

At least my trees will be happy while we’re away. My fig trees has a bunch of baby figs on it now and I’m probably going to not get any of them. The birds got the one big ripe one already. I did eat one yesterday; it was good! I don’t really begrudge the birds, they have it rough.
