Got the jewelry order off. I was so anxious. I get so anxious about all of it, really. If people don’t reorder I’m ashamed and assume it’s because they thought my work was shoddy. Every time I send out an order I’m sure I’ll get a call complaining about what I’ve sent. Or that it got lost in the mail.

I didn’t do any cyanotypes today. I practiced lettering on a scrap that didn’t turn out well. White gouache fades to a shade in the blue that evokes transparency. My pointed pen is rubbish and I was feeling terrible until I put in a Brause flat nib and reminded myself that I actually have some skills with that. At last, my hand is complete again.
