I was already tipping from positive and enthusiastic to “oh no, what if I’m wrong and can’t make this work or what if they aren’t as generally appealing as I think?” When one of my fb friends helpfully answered my, “can you still tell they’re paintbrushes?” With “No, you can’t tell at all. Nice!” under the mistaken impression that that was not in fact the goal, and now I’m afraid they just look like dumb lumps of thread and not paintbrushes made magnificent. My “I love this” has switched off. I want to quit.

It’s always one crisis or another with me. I’m so tired of me.
