I went to the embroidery store and bought a lot of shades of grey. I may have to go get more. The color of stones and clouds is hard to understand in isolation.

But I finished the cuff with the red and orange flames and now have started the cuff with blue flames. They look good. I think of flames of every color, gradated and glowing in the middle. Grey flames. Rainbow flames. Purple. Green. Pink.
